Hello, condom here!

Hello! My name is Oscar. I created this blog "Be Safe, Stay Wrapped" to inform young teenagers about the use of condoms and which condoms are the safest. A few weeks ago, I got an assignment to research a product that is significant to me or significant to other teenagers, and I chose condoms. At first my English teacher wasn't so sure if it was a good idea for me to research this product due to my immaturity in class, but I told myself and my teacher that I was going to do this assignment as professionally as I could.

I choose to write about this product because, first off it's significant to me and almost all teenagers and adults. Even though many people are against condoms due to their religious beliefs I believe they should still know about the safety. Condoms are not only used to prevent pregnancy, but also to prevent from getting sexually transmitted diseases. (STD) Secondly, my mother had me while in high school at 15 years of age, so this causes me to take condoms serious. My mother was not expecting to be a mom at a young age, it just happened to be that her and my father did not use protection. My parents were not ready to have a baby they were barely growing up themselves.

Besides the fact that you can get pregnant you can also get an STD from sex. You or your partner might not even know you have an STD until getting checked, you can easily get checked for STD at your regular city clinic. Getting checked for STD is important if you're sexually active, taking in play that some STD can cause death and or serious health issues.

A condom is a way to prevent this from happening, so if you can be safe by simply wrapping up, why not wrap up? A 2% chance is better than a 100% chance, right? So here is my blog to help out mainly young teens from ages as young as 13-14 years of age to 18-20 years of age, in learning which condoms are the safest for them.
